One idea is to publish an 'appcast' for software updates and then do a software updater using Sparkle http://sparkle.andymatuschak.org/

- Git-powered blog system.
For example:
http://cloudhead.io/toto http://www.matthias-georgi.de/shinmun
- Social network integration
- Create a Jamoma account @Facebook (update the current one?), Twitter, Vimeo, Youtube and whatever needed
- Forward Jamoma blog posts to Facebook page and send a link/excerpt to Twitter (http://ruby.about.com/od/networking/qt/twitterapi.htm)
- Add one social network toolbar to blog posts so readers can re-blog etc.
- Forward commit-log to Twitter as suggested by Pascal

Also came across this : http://drydrop.binaryage.com/#features (Github-based blog engine)
Did not look much in details yet but thought I would bookmark it here.

I am currently looking into Hobo
This seems a really impressive solution that would greatly speed up development, providing a lot of the boring stuff (authentication and authorization) with next to no development effort.

- Status changed from New to Closed
I have set up a separate project for Web site development and maintenance, and will track issues there, so I'm closing this issue.
