shouldn't we add tags to jamoma components/modules as well ?
what would be the available tags, then ?
should we open a wiki page to set all the available tags before assigning them ?
BTW, where are these tags stored ?
how can we export them and include them in the installer ?

We could set these up in a faux-refpage or as messages to Max (in an init file or compiled into the framework). The init file is probably the easiest one to do.
We could also add a couple searches to the file browser. In my opinion we should do this and have the searches replace the overview patcher.

IMO we should do that and keep the overview patch
I think it's a good place to start and to centralize things around Jamoma (in particular, I like the tutorials browser...)
I really like the file browser a lot and use it all the times (have a couple of Jamoma searches as well), but I noticed a lot of Max users don't use it at all... so for these ones at least, that's a risk people completely miss Jamoma..
I know it's always bad to have to maintain 2 things in parallel, but in the same time, I guess once the searches are made and the tags are chosen, everything is updated automatically... so we only have to take care about the overview...
I added a wiki page in the green papers section, under documentation, in order to choose which tags we want to use... :http://redmine.jamoma.org/wiki/modular/Tags_and_fileBrowser_searches
